About ʻĀina Exotics

Aloha Our 10.5 acre fruit farm is an exotic fruit lover’s paradise. We are located in the lush North Hilo district, in the town of Pāpaʻaloa on the Hāmākua Coast of Big Island Hawaiʻi.

The focus of our Big Island nursery and farm is exotic and tropical fruit, perennial food plants and annual organic vegetables. Also, we collect medicinal plants, permaculture plants, tropical ornamental plants and other rare exotic plants.

At ʻĀina Exotics we strive to collect a wide range of exotic fruits and rare plants. Our goal is to preserve and share these interesting plants and the knowledge of how to work with them. Our website contains useful information on permaculture, agroforestry, rare exotic fruits, and designing tropical food forest systems. We also offer many links to garden and plant resources in the Hawaiian Islands and beyond.  See our Library for more information.
