Poha Berry

Physalis peruviana L., also called the cape gooseberry among other names. This plant is the Solanaceae family (tomatoes, peppers). It grows 2-3 feet tall, sort of a vining plant (can grow taller with support). The berries are bright yellow/orange when ripe and have a thin skin with sweet juicy flesh. These plants are perennial in the tropics and may live up to 5 years, fruiting 2-3 times a year. For more information see :
