If you purchase a vetiver clump from us it will look something like the picture below. In most cases will have approx. 20 divisions or more. Alternatively, you can tell us approx how many divisions you want. The the grassy part cut off at about 6″-12″. We will deliver it in a garbage bag with soil intact.
Vetiver is an excellent for borders around gardens, orchards, and is great used in polyculture permaculture plantings. But, mostly vetiver is useful (for example on the Hamakua Coast of Big Island) for slope stabilization and erosion control. Other uses include aromatic smudges and essential oils.
